Chapter 12

Seth

Seth didn’t care that Christian was on a date. Good for him.

“You’re pacing a hole in our carpet,” Nate mused, getting ready to go out for the night. “Do these jeans make my ass look good?”

Seth glanced. “Yeah, sure.”

“Wow, such enthusiasm.”

Seth’s phone pinged again and he grabbed for it so quickly that Nate raised his eyebrows. “Shut up.”

He glanced at his screen.

Hey, can I come over?

Seth knew he should say no. They’d made a clean break, and it was all for the best. Maybe once their campaign wound down…but there would always be another campaign. There was never a good time to see Christian.

It would never work.

Sure.

“When are you leaving?”

Nate whistled. “You know what? I’m gonna let the rudeness slide if you’re getting laid, because you’re unbearable right now.”

“I’m not…”

Nate snorted.

“Just go!”

“All right, fine,” Nate sauntered towards the door. “You owe me, though. I’ll be sure to stay out alllllll night.”

Seth opened his mouth to tell Nate to shut up again, but his roommate was already gone.

Seth paced around his apartment for a few more minutes before his doorbell rang. He took a deep breath and opened the door, finding Christian standing there with a nervous smile on his face. They stared at each other for what felt like an eternity before Christian stepped forward and wrapped his arms around Seth’s waist. Their lips met in the middle as they both closed their eyes, savoring this moment that had been months in the making.

They kissed passionately for what felt like hours, clothes coming off piece by piece until all that was left between them was their skin against skin. Seth lay down on the floor and pulled Christian on top of him, gently caressing every inch of him as he explored every curve of Christian’s body with his hands.

Christian tugged on Seth’s lower lip with his teeth and kissed down his chest as he murmured sweet nothings in his ear. Seth bit back a gasp – this wasn’t like anything he’d ever done before. There was a raw intimacy in Christian’s eyes that made Seth look away, but the sight of Christian’s hand tugging on his own cock was just as overwhelming.
